I have a few pair of snag shorts to wear under dresses that I got last year. I didn't have a problems then, though I did find them kind of awkward/inconvenient to get up and down because of how stretchy they are - I found it took a lot of adjusting to get the gusset to sit high enough somehow, and sometimes the seams would end up a bit low - that, combined with the extra heat this year, means I'm still getting a bit of chapped and sore skin. I don't know if it's the size that I got (can't remember which, unfortunately!), or if that's just how this sort of thing fits because it has to be so stretchy.
Has anyone compared those to big bloomers chub rub shorts? They also look smooth and quite sheer. But they don't seem to come up as high at the waist, which might not be as good - like the Sloggi long pants, which I tried and which are good for not being too stretchy, but the seams at the bottom of those rubbed, as well as them not being that high on the waist.
Snag ones are at least quite cool. They have laddered a little but not right through like an actual hole, just where the fabric has laddered a bit.
I'll persist with snag if that's just how it is but if there are other good suggestions, I'm open to ordering something else...
