What do you do with hair a night?

My fine 'baby' hair is the longest it's ever been sort of armpit length.

But, I'm fed up of looking like a scarecrow!

I wash my hawker in the morning each day and a night it gets so wild.

If I tie it up if knots up around the bobble. If I leave it down if goes huge. I've only just discovered the pineapple on the head type of ponytail recently.

What do you do with your hair at night? And also in the morning because in the heatwave is washed it after work and blasted it dry shampoo but still likes a wreck!

Silk scrunchie, loose bun or two on top of head (twisted) and a silk pillow case. Wake up with no frizz! Quick brush through, small bit of olaplex hair oil to shine and done. If needed I put dry shampoo in during the evening before bed, then it works it's way around and absorb the oil best.

Shove it in a mum bun and deal with it in the morning!

Leave in conditioner and heat defence spray and brush with a wide tooth comb will help too

Low bunches or plaits, I find ponytails and buns annoy me in the night.

I second the silk scrunchie. It has to be real silk. I put it in at night and it really helps and slides out with no snagging in the morning.

Silk pillow case, pineapple bun, silk headscarf

No frizz

Up in a pineapple on the top of my head with a scrunchie. I have curly hair and find this works best.

Hair up in bun and bonnet

I leave mine loose normally to sleep, but have sometimes formed 3-4 plaits. It gives a nice wave for the following day.

Low plait if I'm going to be straightening it the next morning, pineapple bun if I want to keep my curls intact

I hate when my hair gets too long and starts to strangle me at night. Before I can get a hairdresser appointment I plait it. Seems to leave it less frizzy than a ponytail

thethoughtfox · 21/07/2022 21:57

Silk turban. Keeps hair soft and tangle free. If it is styled like curls, it will stay in overnight.

Low plait and a silk cap. My hair can go three days now without washing for the first time in my life.

I wake up with frizz free, smith hair with a slight curl at the bottom. Looks lovely.

Can't say I look too good with my silk cap on though. DP horrified 😂

doodleygirl · 21/07/2022 22:00

i have a silk turban but I only wear it when I have to, I find it so uncomfortable and hot, Low pony and scrunchie works ok

LaingsAcidTab · 21/07/2022 22:01

I do a low plait, which doesn't cause a lump under my head if I lie on my back, and doesn't end up undoing and wrapping round my face when I roll over.
