Users of Erborian CC Cream Doré

Hi. I got a tube of this yesterday, from Amazon, and the smell is really strong. Not necessary bad, is almost like an old fashioned cosmetic smell; I remember my grandma smelling a bit like it... The smell lingers for a long time.

I'd be grateful to hear from users of Erborian CC Cream Doré and if you could confirm, have you noticed the smell and also, did your tube come sealed?

I've never noticed a strong smell.

I don't use the Doré one but I use the green one and yes there is a fairly strong cosmetic perfumey smell. I wish they wouldn't because Erborian products are fantastic but the perfume puts me off.

I had a new one delivered the other day so have just checked, and yes it does have quite a strong smell and the tube wasn’t sealed but it did come in a box. I ordered from Boots.

Yes, mine smells like a grannies perfume and have bought it from Space NK as well as online. I found it smells much less once tube has been opened for a while and is a great product so hasn’t put me off using it.

I don't use it (I didn't like it at all )but I do have it and it definitely did have strong old fashioned cosmetics type of smell to it, like you say really it reminds me of the products my grandmother used in that respect.

Yes I noticed a smell when I first opened it too. Less so now. I love it now although it took me a few days to warm to it. Mine also wasn't sealed but came in a box. I bought mine from boots.

Yes it does have a smell, but seems to disappear after a while, I love it.
