Bought the wrong St Tropez gradual tan, worried I'll look like a giraffe tomorrow!

I usually buy the tinted version of ST gradual tan for my legs. I'm naturally blue of skin so I use it to give me a faint glow.
Yesterday in Boots the shelves were pretty bare. I spotted a watermelon version of the gradual tan which I thought I'd try as I hate the smell of the usual stuff. It was but one get one half price so I bought the only other thing they had which was gradual tan classic (I think?)

I know I'm probably really stupid but I was taken by surprise when I opened the melon one earlier and discovered the lotion is white. As is the classic. Of course they are! So I rubbed in the melon one and I'm not sure what to expect now. I really don't know if I covered everywhere, if it's streaky. That's why I get the tinted one usually.

Am I going to have giraffe legs in the morning?!

No it won't make your legs longer

Ontomatopea · 18/07/2022 20:51

I think it might come out deeper than you'd hoped though sorry.

@Ontomatopea oh if it did that I'd be over the moon Grin
Maybe I should say "will my legs resemble tiger bread in the morning?!"

You will look like a bronzed goddess.

The one I use is always white and never had any problems. I do use a mitt to avoid orange hands though!

I've woken up with really streaky legs! ConfusedBlush. What can I do, if anything, to make them look better? I'm so annoyed, I've never had this problem worn ST gradual tan before, argh!

Could you make a body scrub from sugar/salt and oil to scrub off the worst of the streaks?

The best thing for removing fake tan is to soak in a bath with Epsom salt in for 20 mins then scrub like hell with a body scrub or exfoliating mitt.
