I'm looking for a decent supportive pair that also look good.
Please post recommendations :)

I love my fitflop sandals.

Clarks version or Birkenstocks. I bought two pairs they're so nice.

I am desperately looking for some new sandals for driving, not flip flops. I bought some in M&S last year, but they are all so ugly this year.

fassnk · 17/07/2022 17:52

They're not everyone's cup of tea but I LOVE my Tevo originals.

*Teva!

thanks for the suggestions so far.
i don’t personally love the look of Birkenstocks. Any suggestions for something more elegant looking but also comfortable/practical?

Another Fitflop recommendation- I have their Gracie sandals in black and they are incredibly comfortable (and look quite nice too - not dressy but classic and not like the original Fitflops at all).

I have these walking sandals from Trespass:

Trespass Kimbra, Women's Walking Shoe amzn.eu/6QGpSS1

And these sandals from Clark's:

Both really comfortable. Tbh I hate the huge chunky sandals that seem to be in atm, but that's me.

I've got Birkenstock Glenda and they are so comfy and imo look a little more elegant than traditional Birkenstocks if that's what you're going for

I have 2 pairs from Cos (bought last year) which have a soft leather upper rather than straps - so toes and heels are exposed. They are definitely elegant rather than sporty-looking and they have a similar pair in this year.

I never even gave Teva's a second glance until recently. I broke my leg and some bones in the other foot. I have a walker boot and needed something to accommodate my giant swollen other foot so bought Teva Hurricane with the platform sole.

OMG the comfort! Even with broken bones I have walked around comfortably. I'm not sure I'll ever wear anything else.

Before this I wore Fitflops and have a really comfortable pair of sandals from Dune with memory foam and a chunky sole.

Oh I tried Teva and they just didn’t fit my feet properly sent them straight back. I have some chunky ones from M&S and they are lovely and comfortable
