Recommendations for fancy shampoo/conditioner for dry highlighted hair?

Recently completely changed my hair and have gone very blonde, short bob with shaved undercut (I love it!). I’m looking for a new shampoo/conditioner for everyday use for dry hair (i.e. not a purple shampoo) if anyone has any recommendations?

Currently using Keratase Nutritive 1 which is fine but for the £££ would prefer something which at least smells amazing!

Neals yard Rose shampoo and conditioner

Ooh that looks good @MrsPelligrinoPetrichor - I’ll have a sniff next time I’m in Boots!

I love the smell of rose @snowballupahill and there’s mention of a sample size in the reviews so that’s on the list.

I love bleach London reincarnation mask, I just use it as my daily conditioner. I know you said not purple shampoo, but I really like shrine drop its, I mix a few drops to make my conditioner a faint purple but you can add as mush or as little as you like, lots of different colours are available so you can make your own colour. I prefer adding it to my conditioner rather than using purple shampoo. No particular recommendations on shampoo but if you are bleaching you may like K18, I think it is brilliant. Better than olaplex but it is pricy.

Aveda is brilliant. You need a daily sunscreen for coloured hair though. Which luckily they sell 😁

Ive been using Aveda over 25 years now, tried others but I always go back.

Oribe is the rolls royce of shampoo and conditioner. Absolutely amazing. Sadly the price tag is too!

@babyboyHarrison I’m really wary of purple shampoo specifically after a rats nest horror incident some years back so those Shrine drops look like a brilliant alternative!

@Fluffycloudland77 I have the Aveda Nutriplenish Deep Moisture Hair Trio travel set waiting hopefully in my wish list at the moment. I mean, it’ll be great for holidays anyway… That barely counts as a treat, it’s just practical forward-thinking, right?

Pureology is amazing, my fancy hair salon use it. Smells Lovely.I buy it cheaper from Amazon.

Jadoube · 18/07/2022 07:17

@Shuttheblinds trying an Oribe sample size is just going to cause me pain, isn’t it? God their packaging is pretty…

Pureology is amazing. It was recommended by my hairdressers who specialises in colour. They do a treatment too that I use as a conditioner. I get the huge bottles and it lasts ages.

Jadoube · 18/07/2022 07:23

@catfunk that looks really nice, how strong do you find the lavender scent in the mix? I tend to only go for lavender in pre-sleep stuff and definitely don’t need help in that direction in the mornings!

Thanks for the help all, I’ve got the Nutriplenish Deep Moisture Hair Trio travel set ready for my holiday and am loving the Bleach London Reincarnation mask; I had a Toni&guy purple conditioner kicking around so mix a little of that in as a treatment and it’s working beautifully.

I also have the Liz Earle dry hair shampoo and conditioner en route as Boots had a 3-for-2 offer on and I love LE fragrances. Fingers crossed!
