Are these shoes too long/ big ?

I wouldn't say so. I think the next size down would be too tight across the top.

Yes. Your heel needs to be always flush. If your asking this question they obviously look too big.

There is the option between too big and too small, and that's the correct fit. If you buy them it will bug you and you'll end up not wearing them

I am not sure if they should be flush as the sole is slightly raised like a Birkenstock - so you foot fits inside . One of my feet is bigger than the other 😩

I wouldn't bat an eyelid if I saw someone in the street wearing these. Definitely better than that claw feet look where the toes overhang. The question is more, do they feel like they are going to slip off and be annoying.

No, they look fine to me. If your foot needs to sit down into the sole like Birkenstocks then they’re the perfect size - flush, and you’ll end up with a painful heel and a blister.
