I've got an off-site board meeting on Monday next week - fortunately not in London where the forecast will be 40 degrees, but Newcastle where it will be around 30. I need to look super-groomed and corporate.
I have a long-sleeved lightweight dark dress, or a smart dark formal top/knee-length pleated skirt/jacket combo. I'm going to have to walk from hotel to office for 8am start and catch the train home at the end of the day, but should be able to change into trainers/brogues. What's best to wear on my feet? I really really don't want to wear tights. I'm short, borderline overweight, and inevitably, I get hot flushes.
