1 week in Marrakech, 1 decade since last holiday

As the thread title might hint, I have 1 week in Marrakech coming up as my first holiday in a decade (or slightly more!)

We're going to an AI resort but I have read up on what to wear when we visit the souks/Medina etc. so I think I am sorted for those.

My questions are:

A) what the fuck do I need to take? For example- I don't even know how many swimwear items I need! 1? 7? 43?

B) if I'm not wearing one of my 43 items of (shudder, it's literally been a decade since I wore any) swimwear- what the very hell do I wear? And

C) how many pairs of shoes does a woman really need for a weeks' holiday?

There may be more questions but atm they're my most pressing.

We go on 31.08.22.

If anyone can be arsed to find me any holiday must haves, clothing wise, then I should probably say-

I'm 5ft 9"
Size 14
Round of stomach
Long ginger curly hair
Okay legs, shit boobs
Size 7 feet

Thank you, wise S and B-ers!

Marrakech is fabulous!!
I'd take some shorts/linen trousers with plain tops and good sturdy shoes for during the day. I assume that you will be going out and about on trips up the mountains/waterfalls etc but if not the pavements are bloody murder so I'd avoid heels.
Hat, scarf to cover your shoulders in case you need to for cultural/religious reasons,
Nice dresses for cocktails/party nights in the comptoir darna etc.
I'd also advise a cross body bag with secure zip (guy tried to pickpocket me then shit himself when I shouted in his face).
Have a lovely time and stay away from the man with the monkeys in the main square.
You'll love it

I also adored Marrakesh and can’t wait to go back- booked for early spring next year. Last time I went, I took:
3 long dresses (long sleeved too)- for going into the city and for evening.
3 pairs of shorts- for in the hotel during the day, ours had tennis, boules, yoga…..
plain, long tops.
3 pairs of trousers, linen or lightweight.
kimonos for throwing over swimsuits or in the evening.
3 sets of swim stuff- able to mix and match as similar colours.
longer line, flowy tops (mainly white)
We would always get changed for dinner do had a few bits for that. One pair of heels, trainers, sandals.
Sunglasses and scarf to cover up if you feel you need to.
