Loose, cuffed joggers for a teen

Does anyone know which brands are fashionable at the moment? We’ve looked at so many pairs of joggers and none are right, according to her!

They need to have an elasticated waist and ankles, be thin (not sweatshirt or fleecey material, ideally something quick drying), baggy and grey. In a size 6-8. Her vision is loose joggers and a tight vest top - apparently it’s a look.

Gymshark is very popular with my 18 yr old DS and his friends (both boys and girls).

Are these any good?

She says not baggy enough, sorry! I would have thought they were perfect myself… But I will browse the rest of Gymshark, as she’s in to that sort of sporty / dancery look, thanks!

does it have to be branded? I know when I was a teenager I never wanted to wear anything that wasn’t branded but now I kind of float towards style rather than brand, websites like pretty little thing, I saw it first and boohoo all have different types of joggers just as nice if not nicer and half the price of branded. it may be worth getting her to have a look on those sites they do differ in fits such as wide leg, skinny leg, cuffed as well as different material’a and colours. If not Nike usually have quite a good selection.

My daughter and her friend love these. They would buy the whole of Hollister if they could 🤦‍♀️

Not a brand but I have several pairs. They are good quality, and I think tick the boxes. They are long in the leg and run on the large size. I wear a 14 in these and would normally take 16.

Victoria Secret Pink, might look too thick a fabric (but they're usually quite thin in reality).

We have spent quite a lot of time in Hollister… These ones were too thick and fleecey, unfortunately.

Berhska joggers are quite thin material.

Have you got a Primark nearby? They usually have stuff like this

We had a look, but the only joggers were fleecey and thick. I think maybe it’s not the right seasons so will try again in a couple of months, as I also thought they’d have some.

Aha! She is strongly co side ring these, thank you! Though she’s short so I’m worried they will be too long, from your description.

Thanks! The right search terms help so much. I’ll get her doing her own Googling using those.

Not showing these to her on the basis they’re probably perfect and I’m not paying £55! But maybe I can get a cheap copy? At least until she’s stopped growing…

Mmm - add oversized ,90's joggers ,trackpants

I think the thin ,non sweatpant fabric is going to be a stumbling block .

So hard when you know what you are after .
Good luck!

Holly60 · 13/07/2022 22:39

Do they have to be grey? These are on the new look website, also in black.

Non jersey material.
