Bleached hair in the sun?

I'm about to go on my first holiday as a blonde in a long time. Last time I was blonde on holiday, I came home with less hair than I went as it all snapped off. Although I'd bleached it myself that time and this time it's been professionally done and in good condition.

What products do you recommend to protect your blonde hair from the sun?

Aveda do a hair sunblock. A wide hat will help too.

Just use lots of conditioner and a hat.

Your hair must be very badly damaged for that to happen ?

I plaster mine in conditioner each morning, wear a hat and try to keep in the shade.

I got calypso sun and sea leave in conditioner £3.99 from Amazon did the trick my hair was fine.

I bought* meant to say you can use the calypso on wet/dry hair

It was about 8 years ago when that happened. This time it's in much better condition but I know bleached hair needs to be looked after in the sun.
