We're off to Thailand and I need a good sunscreen spray for the entire family. I will need a Fa Tor 50 and Factor 30. I have my own Roche Posay for my face but just need a hood all-round sun spray which doesn't cost too much. I do have one P20 for the first few days.

Boots soltan sensitive kids works well for me and my LO.

I buy a nivea trigger spray from Home Bargians. Its 300mls rather than 200ml
Have also brought asda own make stuff but like the trigger spray on the nivea better

La Roche posay dermo pediatrics would do your face & kids faces. I sprayed this in a fussy child's eye and it didn't sting! It's also 50 plus.

Cheaper one for bodies. I like ambre solaire clear protect as it doesn't stain clothes and gets on with sensitive skins. I think their 50 was downgraded to 30 though.

Boots Soltan. The whole range is 5*UVA. I've got very fair skin and have used for factor 50 for years, now use it on the kids too. I've tried all their range at sometime or another and have always been impressed (and unburnt!)

Hmm I always buy ALTRUIST (super affordable). My kids love that it's not sticky, they don't like Nivea.

Altruist is amazing. Created by dermatologists. My friend is a consultant dermatologist and she rates it.

katgal · 06/07/2022 23:22

Ye, so happy my friend recommended!! so cheap too.

I have wasted so much money on expensive sunscreen that didn't work

ThatsALotOfPassionfruit · 07/07/2022 06:42

It’s not a spray (not sure if that’s a deal breaker) but the calypso all day ones are excellent and not expensive

meloncolic · 07/07/2022 06:45

We usually use altruist it is brilliant and the tubes are handy.

i bought a spray ambre solaire kids sensitive spf50 from a stand in Lidl and it has been brilliant! Soaks in brilliantly. Also have a tube ambre solaire which I personally like for my legs (dry skin) but is too thick and slithery for anyone else to like it.

Cocacolacazza · 07/07/2022 06:46

Boots Soltan Once. Its 8 hours and 3 hours in the water.

I buy the kids one which I think is just default factor 50. I've come out in a rash with some suncreams so I'm very wary about what I use. My eldest also has fair, sensitive skin. This one is fine with both of us.

cliffdiver · 07/07/2022 07:04

We also use Boots Soltan kids.

8 hour sun protection, or 3 hour water protection. 5 star UVA.

We have the factor 30

That looks good 👍

meloncolic · 07/07/2022 07:21

Ooh the boots one sounds great!

ThickCutSteakChips · 07/07/2022 07:21

Boots Soltan. Barring skin reactions, I don't understand why anyone would ever buy anything else tbh!

dementedpixie · 07/07/2022 07:27

Because you get cheaper suncream that's also 5 star rated and works just as well
