Beauty Pie pop-up shop this week

Has anyone been to the Beauty Pie pop-up in Covent Garden, London? I went at the weekend, have been a member a good few months now and really wanted to try the textures and scents of the products in person.

It's really well organised. There was a 15-20 minute queue to get in when I went, but they hand out samples and sweets while you wait, then it's not too crowded inside. Staff are really helpful and well informed. I got colour matched for foundation and concealer and chatted about SPF to the company founder Marcia Kilgore, who was there helping people and cleaning testers like the other staff. Nearly everything they sell on the site was available to try and buy.

It's open until 6pm on Sunday, definitely recommended if you can get there, especially if you're already a member.

Do you work for Beauty Pie OP Grin.

I don’t like the beauty pie sales method. I don’t want pay x amount a month and then havE to pay on top of that. When I first signed up I was led to beleive that you had the balance of your subscription to spend plus extra of you wanted to. Not that it have you access to say £20 value of products but you still had to pay on top.

I'm another one disappointed with Beauty Pie. I hated that the RRP and not the actual cost was used against your spending allowance. I could hardly 'afford' anything and then when I saved a load of allowance, what I'd saved for was out of stock. I think its a bit of a racket to be honest.

Does being a member mean anything in the pop up, or is it for anyone?

I took a one year break from BP to see if i actually missed it or was just using it because I had the subscription. I’m about to sign up again to only buy the skincare (the serums and moisturisers are
genuinely great for the price).

The make up is so-so - I only use the eyeliner and a lip crayon - everything else is ok, but didn’t miss it when I ran out. They also discontinued the perfume that I loved 😫 which I will eventually get over…

LOL, no I don't work for them! I thought about joining for ages because I didn't want to pay a monthly fee and have all those limits on what you buy, but now you just pay I think £50 for the whole year, and the spending limit is massive (£3000 I think) so I'm never going to reach that.

You can shop at the pop-up as a non-member, but you'll pay the (much higher) non-member prices. I assume you can join up there as well.
