What procedure to refine skin texture and pigmentation?

Just that really.

My pigmentation is driving me mad and the texture of my skin really needs refining. I'm 44 and I've got sagging jowls and nose to mouth and chin lines, which I'm just about to have dealt with with Botox and fillers, but I'd really like my skin to look fresher too.

Don't want anything that could cause more pigmentation or scarring so not sure about lasers, but could be open to them if its the best option.

TIA.

Laser resurfacing works well, but the recovery is brutal. Ten days not being able to leave the house. Then redness for several months. But it takes off everything! Lines, scars, moles; it even tightens your eye lids and chin line. Need to go to a good doctor though. Read the reviews!

Try IPL - good for pigmentation, reducing redness if you have it & generally makes you look fresher. I find it only involves a day of down time at most.

Try azelaic acid and/or hydroquinone. Both are prescription only, use with caution!

Micro needling?

Also- Get some decent glycolic acid and get started now yourself. I like Liquid Gold. Wear mega spf and a hat!

And retinol at night. These should make a big difference. Worth maybe before anything more drastic?
