Can anyone recommend a shower/swimming cap?

I have very blonde highlights and I’m wondering how to keep my hair from turning green.
I need to protect it while splashing with the kids at the pool, not swimming (I can’t even swim!) so I’ll try to not submerge my hair but still, it’s going to get wet.

Swimming caps look really weird though… any thoughts?

A large headband might do the trick instead? One of the thick ones will probably cover most of your hair if you put it in a bun.

My hair is highlighted and I've swum several times a week for many years. My hair is submerged for about an hour each time, I don't wear a cap, never had my hair turn green. I can't see why you need to worry about it.

I don’t swim for about five days after having my hair done but I go a few times a week after that and never had any issues.

I use a swimming cap 50/50 depending if I’m swimming in the morning or evening , I have a Speedo hat from Amazon.

Wet your hair in the shower before you go in the pool, then tie it up.

Hair can only absorb so much moisture, so if it's already wet from the shower it can't soak in very much of the chlorinated water from the pool.
