My friend has 2 weddings this summer…

The first she is Plus One with a male friend, at a casual wedding, semi-rural.
The second she is Aunt of the groom, smart formal venue in London.

We are going shopping tomorrow, first wedding is Saturday!

She is in her late 40s, 5’3’ tall, blonde hair and petite size 12.
she likes trousers more than dresses but wants to live up to family expectations at 2nd wedding.

Any suggestions, style mavens?
Particularly if one outfit could be styled two ways.

I was also thinking of a floaty floral dress if your friend would wear one. It could be worn casually with a cardigan and flats / sandals / clogs . Or with wedges / smarter shoes and a jacket / pashmina as PP suggests. An all rounder!
