I have just bought some perfect jeans (for me) that fit so well, have a mid rise and are that magical kind of fit - inbetween slouchy and slim. They are amazing quality for high street and a lovely, new colour for me.
However, I am 5'4 and they are just a teeny bit long. I don't want to get them shortened as the slouch at the foots suits me, and shortening will make them look bootcut, which don't suit me!
They are about an inch and a half longer than I'd like, so am wondering if there is a type of cheap trainer or sandal I could find to mitigate it?
Any ideas welcome. I don't like huge franken-shoes but would be happy with a subtle platform in the style of a Birkenstock or trainers.
I could get them taken up a bit but like I say I don't want to loose the foot slouch.
Here is a pic of the jeans on a 5'7 model. What I love most about these is the ride, it is described as low but it is more like a low-mid. They completely cover my bum and don't fall down, just perfect! And the 'flare' is more of a slouch than a traditional boat sail shape, I def recommend!
