I'm in my late 20s and have two young kids. I'm on mat leave no.2 and mostly wear scruffy, cheap, practical clothes that are also easy for breastfeeding. Now that the baby is getting older I am resuming something of a social life, and on the few occasions I have been going out on an evening for a meal/drinks/wedding reception I have panicked about what to wear. I feel like I'm getting too old almost for my 'young', 'quirky' clothes...but I don't know what to buy to replace them?! I also wil be starting a new job in a couple of months based in an office (healthcare sector). I haven't been office based since the pandemic struck, and my old office was casual dress code, so I would wear jeans and trainers etc. New one is office wear. I own casual scruffy clothes, and suits etc but nothing in between.
Help! I'm a size 8 with a big-ish bust and average height and won't wear anything with cleavage on show. Other than that...any recommendations?! Really 'on a budget' too. I will only be working 2 days a week so for work I only really need about 3 outfits really as I could rotate.
