What colour bag with this wedding guest outfit!

Hi all I'm wearing this dress and these navy wedges, what colour bag would you put with it?
(The dress is longer on me as I'm shorter than the model, just above knee).

I would say gold

I think I would have picked out the orange - ASOS have some lovely orange shoes...

Although I don’t think I’d have put navy with that dress

I'd go yellow bag

I’d go with orange too. Gold is a bit cruise ship.

Thanks all, I haven't actually fully committed to the navy shoes yet and was going to do orange but I'm not a huuuge fan of orange and wasn't sure I'd easily match a bag to orange shoes.
The dark bits in the dress are navy but they look black in the picture

You could go with nude heeled sandals and a navy clutch bag

These are also a possibility, preferred to the navy?
I have nude heels so will try them too!

What colour is your hat/fascinator and buttonhole?

@RuthW I'm not wearing a fascinator and partner isn't wearing a buttonhole. Do I need to wear a fascinator? I've not worn one before!

You don’t need to wear a fascinator nor is a button hole necessary.

Oh god - don't wear a fascinator, hideous things. And do people still wear buttonholes nowadays? Not at any wedding I have been to.

I like the idea of the orange shoes. Anything that doesn't match the bag.
