So last week, I was staying at a 5 star hotel in Turkey, and decided to do a collagen face treatment. There were multiple steps in the treatment, face masks, gentle scrubbing, removing black heads, massage...It also included collagen injections at the top of the forehead and sides of the jaw. It was not painful, but uncomfortable, my skin is feeling nice and smooth, and I don't have any weird symptoms.
My only concern for which I'm kicking myself for is not actually having asked more questions about the products they use, particularly the collagen injections. Not that I think they've use dodgy products, as I don't have any side effects, but I'm generally a worrier and would have liked to at least do some research before agreeing to this procedure. I'm normally a cautious person, but this treatment happened at the end of my stay there, and if I'm honest I was so relaxed overall, and had such a great time that I just thought, let's just get it done.
Now that back home, I've been reading about this collagen treatment, it does seem to have benefits, but I still wish I was more careful!!!!
Not sure what kind of feedback I'm expecting, but I just feel better now that I've written it down...
