Apologies for what I feel is a very stupid question but I am completely new to getting my nails done.
I have a nail appointment tomorrow but recently injured one of my fingers right next to the side of the nail. It's 80% healed but there's still a tiny (as in 2mm long) open wound next to the nail.
Is it okay to still go to the appointment? I plan on covering it with a small plaster, I should be able to position it to leave the nail exposed so they can work around it. If they can't / don't want to, I'd be happy enough to just get the current colour off and not repainted - I have gels so can't do this myself at home.
I'd reschedule but I'm going on holiday the next day! My nails really need doing as they're starting to chip and are getting way too long for me to leave them another 10 days until I get back.
