Lands End Coats - Are the sizes realistic.

I'm looking at this coat but they only have my size, apparently S, in green (prefer chocolate brown) so as a last resort if I don't find anything else.

So is a S really the fit for a size 10/12? Does anyone know?

TIA

I have just bought this jacket in the brown (which is lovely btw). I am a 14/16 and a L fitted perfectly. A M was just a tad too tight with a jumper underneath. I did find them a good fit so you should be ok. You could try the US site (.com) and see if they have your size/and will ship?

Thanks Twirl. I always leave things too late to buy the exact things I want. I'll try the us site.

Did you buy the coat? Are they good quality?
I'd love to know how it worked out because i'm considering buying Long chalet down coat.

I did buy the coat, went for the green in the end. It's fab, everyone comments on how lovely it is. I've been out in the blustery weather with just a shirt on underneath (and trousers obviously ) and it's very warm.

And stuck with the small size, fits perfectly.
