Fine/thin cardigan for over a strappy vest top

I’ve bought a floaty strappy vest top but I need a sort of fine/thin summer weight cover-up or cardigan to go over it. I’ve never worn this sort of top before as I can’t bear to be uncovered across my shoulders/upper arms/back but I really liked this top.

What sort of thing should I look for? I saw a cropped white thin cardigan in Sainsburys today and wondered if that’s the sort of thing I should look for. I definitely want something that’s summer weight fabric as a normal cardigan will be too warm.

Is it just a plain vest? I’d got for a kimono style jacket / cover for floaty comfort, they’re on trend now to.

I've got a few, lightweight short floaty from one hundred stars which are perfect for the summer. I wear them with strappy tops, sleeveless tops & dresses. They go with most things and are very comfortable.
