Bleach spot on new cotton dress

Help! I've just got a new summer dress and I've managed to splash bleach onto it the first time I've worn it

If it was a single colour I'd just dylon over the whole dress - but it's a check with the bleach mark on a pale grey area. Is there anything I can do to make it less obvious?

I would try a waterproof felt tip pen. Do a test first on the hem or seam. Put the colour onto something like kitchen roll and the press the colour onto the fabric. Start with the reverse and then if necessary very lightly in the front. I have used this on cotton before and it works pretty well if you can get a good colour match.

It won't be perfect but it will be a lot less noticeable.
