Got some lovely trousers but need a top

I have a pair of wider leg cobalt blue trousers. I love the colour. White would seem the obvious option for a top but white tends to make me look a bit washed out. Do you have any suggestions as to what would go?

these are the trousers. The cobalt doesn’t seem to load but you can get an idea from the black ones.

I’ll wear them with converse.

I have just bought this , you can wear it as a scoop neck rather than off shoulder. It’s not overly long, I just tucked the front into my jeans.

I can't wear white either I often buy what I can only describe as pale yellow or banana, or maybe cream would also look nice.

Black would go, but it's not a very summery colour.

I would try an orange top. Look up cobalt blue complementary colours and you'll see what I mean. Or a patterned top that has cobalt in there along with some other colours. Or a blue and white striped top maybe?

Thank you. Quite like the shocking pink idea and orange. Will definitely look at those some more. Not keen on the off shoulder one. I think that would make my boobs look massive.
