It arrived this morning and it's lovely. Really nice A-line shape, cut generously, so you could wear a fleece or whatever underneath if it's really cold.

Seems very good quality as well. Zip is covered, it has those breathe hole thingys under the arms, all very nice. Haven't been out in it yet but looking at it I am fairly confident that it could be raining heavily and I wouldn't get wet.

I am pleased I went for the bright red, it's a really nice red, and I was umming and erring between that and the ivory.

They don't seem to have an email address in the 'contact us' bit on the website.

My rainyday mac arrived today.
I ordered it on the 11th so I am quite pleased with how long it took to get here.
Its one of the sale items so not a new fancy zip one.

I like the style, its the coffee 60's spot design.

Its comfy to wear and would fit a cardi or jumper underneath. Today I was warm enough in what I was wearing and just the jacket.
It was easy to drive in too.
The buttons were a bit stiff to do up though and I could see how they would come loose

Lots of the mums at school noticed it was new I got an 'ooh new jacket mel?' Another mum we went to visit commented on how nice it was.
One mum asked me if it was an Orla Kiely coat. It does look a bit like my bag (same colours and similar pattern )
I hadn't realised that till I put it on today.

It kept me dry and warm which is the main thing.

Overall I'm pleased

I got a lovely bright red rainmac from Primark for £15 today. Lovely.....

princessmel · 17/01/2008 18:13

Does it have a hood?

Onlyaphase · 17/01/2008 18:15

I thought it was just me who had crap buttons on their cream/red winter mac! 3 fell off in the first week, and they are a bugger to sew on again.

And yes, I have complained to Boden by email about the shoddiness of their button sewer. Nothing in response yet, and I complained about 2 months ago.

MarsLady · 17/01/2008 18:16

Yes it does and a nice spotty inside They have bright blue (but I have a bright blue bag), black and another colour but I can't remember which.

here
ring boden, ask them for the order number that you bought the faulty item on...
tell them you are returning
rethrn with letter of complaint and send RECORDED delivery even if using free returns label, proof of posting will NOT cover you.
My tale I bought a lavender silk curvy cardi, have always bought one each yr, this time was badly done, poor seams, bad pilling and it got mishaped.
So after 5 mths I though actualy I paid £60 for this and it's not good enough.
So I sent it back.
Actually it got lost in the post but boden gave me a full refund.
pays to complain

It sounds nice mars. Typical, I've wanted this one for ages but never got it cos of the price. Then just when I give in and buy one (even tho it was in sale its still £££) Primark has one!

Belcantavin....My friend though it looked like Orla Kiely and I hadn't think that before she said it. It does a bit though.
