If you were going to a five night festival next week what would ypu wear?

No guesses for which festival😃 ive got my standard basics I take every year but i would quite likeca couple of bits to add some “sparkle” i cant see anything aimed at a 50 year old festival goer though😂

I’m going! Though only the weekend.
I’m not sure what the weather is saying yet so haven’t decided what I am taking.

if it’s hot, I’ve got lots of old festival gear I’ll dig out - little dresses etc I’ll wear with my boots.
are you up for buying some new stuff? Rosa bloom does reliable festival sequins. Or a nice embellished jacket? I actually just got a black kenzo bomber massively reduced in the sale with a massive tiger crawling over the shoulder that I’ll take if it’s chillier. I tend to always go bare legs by day unless it’s terrible weather. Then leggings for the evening unless it’s a heatwave as it gets cold.

Oh I will do I wasn’t bothered having not got tickets and then all of a sudden we got 12 in the resale so I couldn’t really say no. I’m tentatively getting excited now.

Yes probably too late for that. I cant believe ive spent over £100 on a sleeping mat im really showing my age. I have walking shoes and trainers im not doing wellies as im busing it. I have loads of stuff really just fancied a sparky skirt that I could put leggings under on the night.

No advice other than have an amazing time, I’m slightly jealous!

I wear just above knee denim skirts with a variety of tops. Tights and trainers. But I'm 63!

Oh and other stories have a lovely green sequin mini. I really like that but am not buying anything else.

One of the Oxfam shops at the festival sells sparkly things, you could probably find something there. There are 4 Oxfam shops at the festival. I'll be working in one of them (as a volunteer) - might see you there!

It’s probably about my 18th one! It’s certainly got more dressy over the years. I miss the old days!

Ah it’s only my 13th, so you know it better than me! I think anything goes really… but I like to dress up so always have done! Have an amazing time.

Following for the help I desperately need! Only my third and I’m having a wardrobe wibble- ready and willing to panic buy. The only sequins I have are more Xmas party season than festival.

You'll be able to by sparkly stuff there. Probably at 1 of the oxfam stalls. I'm packing shorts with leggings to go underneath. They dry quickly in the rain. I've also got some loose cotton harems as it's cooler in the really hot weather. Fedora hat for the sun, light beanie for nighttime. Bumbag for wallet/phone. Lots of spf, moisturiser and lipsalve - skin gets really dry when exposed to the elements for almost a week. I think we're certain that it won't be biblical mud but could still chance of rain so I'd suggest boots over wellies but hopefully it'll be trainers. Only 1 week to go I'm so excited.

Weather has just changed and now looking cold and rainy next weekend which changes everything! I’m going to have to wait to pack until the very last minute. If the current forecast sticks, I’ll be in leggings and disco pants and jumpers! And maybe even wellies :(
