Basically that. Determined to be better at using 50+ SPF on my face every day but want to make sure it doesn't break me out and clog all my pores!

It's not SPF 50 but I've been reading that anything above 25 is fine. Body Shop Vitamin C SPF. It's like a moisturiser. Love it. We have tubes all over the house and in the cars now as the kids will use it too.

Murad City Skin Spf50 but it is very expensive!

Ostryga · 14/06/2022 15:29

Thank You Farmer water sunscreen is amazing.

D0lphine · 14/06/2022 15:30

La Roche posay.

NotSur · 14/06/2022 15:30

I hate all spf they make my face sore, itchy and spotty after one day then I get cystic acne after any more. I’ve tried so so many I literally can’t wear any.

i have to keep out of the sun as much as possible and if I can’t then I either use the smallest amount possible and have to put up with the reaction

massistar · 14/06/2022 15:31

I really like Ultra Violette Clean Screen.

LimesandClementines · 14/06/2022 15:32

Thank you farmer water cream.

itbemay · 14/06/2022 15:32

Cerave face moisturiser with SOF is brilliant, wear it all year round

Fluffruff · 14/06/2022 15:33

This one, it’s like a primer so I put it on after moisturiser but before makeup. Also comes in factor 50 www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00TIT5Y0K?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

doadeer · 14/06/2022 15:38

The Dr Sam one is good. Tinted or non.

It's quite expensive though.

Cheaper I like altruist face fluid.

Also like beauty pie and ultraviolet ones

Kaftankween · 14/06/2022 15:41

Second Dr Sam Bunting. Feels like a primer. Great under makeup

hugoagogo · 14/06/2022 15:44

Well darn it, was going to recommend the superdrug cheapy one I have been using, but it looks like it might have been discontinued.Sad

OceanbreezeSun · 14/06/2022 15:52

I really like the one by Garnier , it’s spf 50, called ‘Anti Age Super UV’

I’ve tried several face spfs, I would say most have made my eyes water like mad which is very annoying.

This one doesn’t make my eyes water, it feels like a normal face cream, not too thick. It’s really good. I just wish the tube was bigger, in fact, all face spfs come in tiny bottles or tubes. A good way to make more ££££ off us, I suppose

I really like Ultra Violette Clean Screen.

I second this

Cardilover · 14/06/2022 15:55

Another vote for Thank You Farmer!

TomAllenWife · 14/06/2022 16:00

La Roche Poussay is fabulous and highly reviewed

Second this - about £7 in Boots, goes on nicely, works and doesn’t break me out (most sun blocks also make my eyes water, incl expensive options, but this one doesn’t).

It goes everywhere with me - I love it!

PatientlyWaiting21 · 14/06/2022 16:01

Heliocare or Zelens

sunscreen should always be applied after your moisturiser

Oceanus · 14/06/2022 16:19

Rohto New Hadalabo Gokujun All In One UV White Gel SPF50+ PA++++ : it also doubles as a primer, doesn't sting, doesn't clog my pores, doesn't stink, my skin's very happy and it's the best one I've tried so far! However I've just realised how much it costs now and I'll be watching this thread closely because it's double the price compared to a year ago so I need to find sth cheaper... Bloody heck I've been recommending this left and right but I had no idea the price had gone up by that much. It would be cheaper to bathe in Chanel no.5!

ISpyNoPlumPie · 14/06/2022 16:25

Another vote for Thank You Farmer, although I tried the sun essence one (www.cultbeauty.co.uk/thank-you-farmer-sun-project-light-sun-essence-spf50/13313864.html) it's amazing, lasted me a whole spring summer of everyday use. £21 though. The Beauty Pie one - also great if you're a member (or want to be, or will remember to cancel after the trial period!) and is £12.34.

AGC21 · 14/06/2022 16:33

Thanks everyone!! I have definitely heard great things about Beauty Pie & LRP!

Lancaster factor 30 facial gel. It's brilliant

TeaAndCake · 14/06/2022 18:00

Cetaphil. Not expensive but the only one I can use on my face without stinging my eyes.
Also feels very light.

I've just bought www.superdrug.com/Skin/Sun-Care/Sun-Protection-Sprays/Nivea-Sun-Uv-Face-Soothing-Senstitive-Sun-Cream-Spf50,-50Ml/p/815800?gclsrc=aw.ds&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhuGu3P-s-AIV09TtCh0XNAU2EAEYASABEgJfRfD_BwE

and I'm really liking it so far! No white cast, not greasy, no itch... Doesn't appear to make me spo3tth but perhaps too soon to be sure
