Where can I get them cheapest? Thinking with a good discount or chasback code, or just a good price? Have started Googling but wondering if someone has recently bought some.

Following because I want a new pair of Birkies but the prices these days 😱

RiverSkater · 14/06/2022 09:26

I bought some from John Lewis, leather brown expensive £80 but lovely. But on the smallest hole they gaped around my foot so I had to return them. I was going to order the narrow non leather.

Then I found some look -alike in Primark £8 in the Mens section. Super comfy!!

Birkenstock website will also give 10% off to new subscribers to their newsletter

Beware that cheaper ones are 90% likely to be knockoffs. I never knew that fakes were a thing, until I stumbled across an article while googling why the cork in mine were disintegrating, I thought it just happened with time. I'd bought 2 pairs on Amazon for £40, both went this way within a year. The fakes are REALLY good at looking like the real thing but the photos on the website I found were helpful.

I then bought a pair straight off the site and they've been great, 2 years oh and no issues.

If the price really is an issue, try this alternative brand instead, they're super comfy and supportive, and are better then the fakes www.lazydogz.co.uk/sandals-28-c.asp

Schuh we’re giving fiver off if you signed up to their loyalty scheme and emails when I bought mine a few weeks back

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 14/06/2022 10:53

Birkies have never been cheap, but usually last years!

I realise this is not helpful now, but I tend to buy them in the winter, when they are often reduced on Amazon.

Glitterb · 14/06/2022 10:59

Try Vinted or depop!

Second hand but I got mine brand new in the box for £40!

Sexnotgender · 14/06/2022 11:01

Try eBay.

OxanaVorontsova · 14/06/2022 11:03

La redoute often has discounts

BlanketsBanned · 14/06/2022 11:05

I just bought 2 pairs, 1 from surfdome and the other from flipflop, £65 and £55

I know they last years, I think that's why I'm shocked by the price, I'd forgotten inflation!

I have in previous years seen good deals on genuine ones in places like Costco and TK Max so was hoping to do similar this year.

I've had Primark before and they've been fine (one strap) but I'm nervous they will take ages to wear in or will rub so thought I'd go for the Real McCoy this time.

For some reason I cannot get anything to come up against womens sandals. I would buy mens but they are out of stock in my size. :-(

Libertybear80 · 15/06/2022 06:14

Fat face have some really nice ones currently

dudsville · 15/06/2022 07:04

Google search "birjebstock arizona" in your size. I've got some from Amazon before at a good price.

cliffdiver · 15/06/2022 07:12

Schuh have them, do you know any students who could purchase them for you?

Do you have NT/EH membership? Check if any companies that offer discounts to members (Cotswold Outdoor?) stock them.

Onlyhereforchaletschool · 15/06/2022 07:12

Is there an outlet newer you? I bought my latest pair at Cheshire Oaks outlet a few weeks ago. I think they were about £40. Prices did vary by colour but definitely cheaper. I bought silver. Not seen them in TKMaxx for a few years now.

VaVaVoombangabang · 15/06/2022 08:22

TKmaxx have not had any in for quite some time now, but do have other brands which are similar.

I though quite some time ago Birkenstock stopped selling on Amazon due to the large amount of fakes.

Achangeisadgoodasarest · 15/06/2022 13:51

I’ve just ordered some from The Hut, new website I think. 20 percent off and free next day delivery using code CASEY from an insta promotion.
