Grown up surfer style

When I was lass 25 years ago I was a bit of a surfer girl - there was a surf outlet near where I grew up by the beach and we hung around in Roxy and Billabong feeling cool. Now I'm in my 40s I can't pull off crop tops any more but I'd love to recapture that carefree beach style. I recently discovered Free People although I need to pick and choose - any other grown up surf style ideas or people to follow for inspiration?

This is my look too. Brands I like are FatFace and white stuff. I have some nice dresses from sea salt too. I really stuggle because I don’t want to look mumsy which some of those brands are. I like free people but it’s out of my budget.
I’ve had some nice stuff from M&S and next recently which fits this style I think without being cropped. I’m so glad wide leg jeans are back!

I was in a shop recently which sold gringo clothing. Almost went back 30 years and bought some patchwork baggy trousers & a jac pac.
