Nivea Body lotion with Q10 and Vit C- anyone had an odd reaction?

I usually use Neutrogena, but was tempted by this as it was on offer and promised the earth (my skin is getting a bit crepey in places.)

I've used it morning and night after showering - smells nice, light and absorbs well BUT I thought it was making my skin worse - my stomach area looked dry and flaky.

I now see it's flaking off - easily dealt with by using a loofah type mit - BUT I'm wondering if the lotion is meant to exfoliate or it's just not suiting my skin.

I use it, it's brilliant. That does not happen to me!

It's weird.

I had no redness or stinging, just slight flakiness- like then a sun tan is fading and you get some dry skin flakes coming off.
