What did your son wear to leavers prom?

My son has his soon and is doing the teenage shrug when I ask what his mates are wearing.

I'm thinking of just hiring as we don't have much call for formal wear 😅

His tie is baby blue.

Any ideas what would go nicely?

What about a Harry Styles purple jumpsuit? Made me fxxking laugh. He looked like mick jagger. On fire. Bless him. He's an entertainer for sure.

Off track here but reading this, does everyone go with a date to their proms? DS doesn't have a girlfriend (and neither do the majority of his friends) so he is going with a group of (male) friends. I thought that was the norm?

No. Very unusual in UK. People go with their friends. At my dcs' school, only pupils from that school were allowed.
