Trousers for the tallish man?

A plea for help from Mr Hab. He's 6ft 3, slim built, and is finding it increasingly hard to get trousers/jeans to fit. He's 34in waist, and needs a 35/36 inch leg, but the longest most shops seem to go to is 34. He really shouldn't need to go to High and Mighty, and surely 6ft 3 is not that unusually tall. He used to be able to get designers at Debenhams trousers, but they all seem too short these days. We're pretty sure he hasn't had a growth spurt... Any tips gratefully received.

Marks and Spencers do tall range, promoted by Martin Johnson.

Need to add: we have found our local store doesn't always have it in stock, but you can order online with free postage on orders over £30 and, if its no good, return it to your local store.

Thanks, somersetmum - will look into that. Anyone else?

dh says Gap and Next also do 35/36" jeans. He's 6'6".

Thanks - he must have even more problems. I think Mr Hab is particularly vexed as he doesn't feel that tall - he's only looking for an extra inch.

My DH has the same issue - he has 37 inch inside leg. He does have some jeans from the Gap that look fine but we've found that getting a tailor to make trousers for him isn't that costly. OK, it isn't cheap either but I think the most expensive was around £100 and the least around £70 cos it was in fabric (cord) that the tailor had lots of. DH wears his clothes for years and years so it works out quite reasonably.
