Usually use Nivea creme bar soap but it's been discontinued. I can't use Nivea shower gel as it sets my skin off. Any recommendations?

It does have a bit different formula to most bars, because it's made with Sodium Tallowate and Sodium Cocoate rather than Sodium Palmate like lots of commercial bars.

I've only had a quick look but this seems to have the closest ingredients so far www.fruugo.co.uk/aquaphor-basis-sensitive-skin-bar-soap-cleanns-plus-smoothes-4-oz-pack-of-1/p-51893408-104522368?language=en&ac=ProductCasterAPI&gclid=CjwKCAjwkMeUBhBuEiwA4hpqECj5hwSqhGD10apEQRa0UCbX1IGotN981VN59M_LrVAIHZJqeUDemBoCtLYQAvD_BwE

Independently made cold process soap.

I like the All Natural Soap Co which doesn't set off my eczema - they have specific ones for sensitive skin but I'm OK with all of them.

Honestly, it's why I started making my own cold process soap.

Pure olive is the mildest but takes months to cure. A mix using coconut oil, olive oil and cocoa butter works well.

Sodium Tallowate is made using animal fats (tallow = lard) if you're veggie it's not suitable. US soap often has it in, along with buckets of palm oil.

I like this one OP, I get it in Boots. I can use it on my face and body, it's gentle and leaves the skin feeling clean but not tight.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll look through them. @QuestionableMouse yes, that is my soap, I'm currently paying over the odds for it on Amazon until I can source a substitute lol

Snap @GuyFawkesDay I have lifelong eczema and started making my own about 10 years ago, I haven’t looked back. I can avoid palm oil, my best soap is a blend of olive, coconut and Shea. Goats milk soap is also good. People get intimidated about the idea of making their own, but it’s really not difficult.

I finally found some Nivea creme soft bar soap 100g at Walmart on line yesterday!! I always ordered enough for the whole year. I have 8 bars of Nivea creme soft bar 125g left. Which means it time place an order. The only soap I was able to find is the one listed above. Which they have only a few left.

Hi OP,

I don't have eczema but my skin can be sensitive. I'm currently using these

https://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/oliva-pure-olive-oil-soap-60038772

I don't rate the smell (think it has a whiff of cardboard) but find it gentle.

After using that, I use this:

Bioderma Atoderm shower oil

Apparently, the shower oil is suitable for those with eczema-prone skin.
