Christening outfit for mum of the baby

i need help. It’s my DS christening next week and I have nothing to wear.

im 34, 17stone, 5ft 7 - carry most of my weight on my stomach. Any plus size occasion wear I can find looks frumpy. In my head I was going to wear a pale blue trouser suit with white blouse underneath but I looked hideous in that.

has anyone any ideas? I’m feeling absolutely desperate.

I can't work out what size you would be but Seasalt and Monsoon have some lovely dresses which go up to larger sizes. I'm an apple and was surprised that skater style suits my shape, likewise relaxed shift dresses.
