Plain, dark summer trousers exactly like really thin cotton pj bottoms?

Do such things exist? My legs are too short and flabby to feel confident in shorts and I’m not a dress wearer. I have found plenty patterned lightweight trousers in fatface, uniqlo and other places but they’re not what I’m after. I want incredibly lightweight, dark, plain pj pant style trousers that are elasticated and fit exactly like my pjs . I’ve looked everywhere I can think of but just can’t find lightweight enough ones for really hot weather? Can anyone suggest anywhere that might have such a thing.

A friend of mine is short and buys cropped trousers that are then the right length on her try Marks and spencer

H&M have cotton cheesecloth black trousers in-store, that are not online yet.
I can recommend the m&s pure cotton ones too.

Couldn't you just wear pyjama bottoms? Who's going to know?

These were bought as comfy house pants but I ended up wearing them for work and they're the comfiest thing I've ever worn! I've bought three pairs. They wash well and you can roll them up or down.

I got som plain black jersey ones last year from Peacocks, elasticated waist and so comfortable!

Do you want stretch or not? Cos do drawstring or elasticated waist trousers in cotton poplin which is going to be cooler than jersey.

Googling 'drawstring linen trousers' brings up tons of options.

The M&S yoga pants are just soooo comfy, the ones I have are black, tapered leg, and a very comfy waistband which is sort of panelled..if that makes sense - so there's no unflattering digging in wide elastic (unlike their leggings which are awful). Recommend.

I've got a pair in blue, they’re very thin and comfortable. Wore them a lot WFH in the summer.

I've just bought some linen ones from Next that are elastic waist and very thin linen. They're wide legged too, and seriously comfy.

Boden had some exactly like that. Basically black PJs.

Lucy & yak cotton trousers have great elasticated waists. They are thicker than pjs but keep you cool still.

I bought some exactly like what you describe in H and M a couple of years back. Wish I’d bought more, I live in them. Very lightweight thin material, pockets, slightly cropped, smart enough for work, I’ll see if they still do them and post a link.
