Swimsuit for late 40s size 12 with spaniels' ears boobs

Where can I get a nice one? I have a Speedo one for swimming in my local pool - it's fine, but the white trim has been dyed grey so it's not really suitable holiday attired.

I do want to swim in it, but I'd quite like to look nice in it too. Boobs need some hoiking up, tummy could do with a bit of Spanx-style action.

Where on earth do I look?

Also, are Sweaty Betty swimsuits any good? I've got a gift voucher for SB and wondered about their swimwear...

I got a really nice one from TU, tummy control + excellent boob hoikage.

It was a bit of an emergency in-store grab as I realised I’d forgotten my usual costume before an aqua class, but now it’s my favourite.

I got a good one from Tu too, very comfortable, looks fine although not glam, excellent price. Ruched black and gives boobs some lift. Well worth a rummage in Sainsbury’s next time you’re near a large one

Not cheap but bloody good.

bra size fitting, stylish, comfortable, well made, good materials that last well.

I highly recommend them (mid forties, a lot larger than a size 12, especially on top).

BundtCake · 20/05/2022 08:37

can you link to the tu ones please?

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 20/05/2022 08:38

Def bravissimo-

Great selection and you can order by cup size which will help with the "spaniels"

JoyDivisionOvenGlovesx · 20/05/2022 09:53

I’ve got this one @BundtCake - the model’s boobs are a little (ok, A LOT) smaller & perkier than mine, but there’s more structural support than probably looks here.

Boden do cup size swimming costumes.

Thanks so much all, I shall google all of these.

Have also just got the Aspiga catalogue and they look nice, too.

Those Tu ones look great! I've ordered the one you suggest @JoyDivisionOvenGlovesx - can't go wrong for £20!

Also loving the other suggestions so will see how I get on with the cheap one first...

I came on here to say Tu! I've had quite a selection of Tu swimming costumes over the years and they are always lovely. Nice padded (though you can remove the pads) boob control, lovely rushing to flatter the tummy and great patterns. Plus so reasonably priced. Perfect!

Ruching not rushing!

Hi I’ve just bought a Boden swimsuit and it’s very supportive for the boobies and fits well. Pricey but will last years and hold shape 😊
