Super lightweight breathable waterproof

I'm sure this has been asked a million times but I can't find anything. I'm after a really lightweight, breathable waterproof.

I have a couple of seasalt waterproofs and a regatta one but they make me roasting and I really need something I can wear now it's milder. Ideally something a little longer so that it cover my bum!

Any recommendations?

Just to add, something I was going to put in my last post, but didn’t. I have a Didriksons jacket and a protected species one and there is no comparison. I was at the safari park last autumn in absolutely torrential rain- I lent my PS jacket to my sister in law who was staying with us and I wore my Didriksons. I was soaked through within an hour and she was still bone dry 3-4 hours later.

yeh - I should have kept the PS one for myself that day!

I think the commuter jacket from Protected Species would fit your requirements. I have one of their jackets and they are outstanding in rainy Scottish weather. The water literally just pours off the fabric, even after hours.

I actually want to buy another one - one of the shorter ones- for summer love them so much.

they’re a fab brand - all made from recyclable material. My husband scoffed because it isn’t goretex but he was pretty impressed after seeing how effective it is.

I love this one and it looks exactly like what I'm after.

I have the RAB in black and it’s really lightweight and meant to be really waterproof.
