I need a post natal wedding outfit

We are supposed to be going to a wedding at the end of March and I'm due at the end of Feb... dh is desperate to go and I'd quite like to as well but am already stressing about what to wear!
Provided baby isn't late I'll be 4/5 weeks post natal and hopefully breastfeeding so I need something suitable. I'm normally a size 12 ish (occasionally a 10) and with dd I was back in normal clothes by about 6 weeks (but am bigger this time)but don'w want to bank on this so ideally it'll be adjustable/ meant to be baggy. Presumably it'd be better if it was a top and skirt/trousers so I can bf easily- any ideas?
It seems like ages away but we haven't even started preparing for this arrival so the more I can get done in advance the better. PLus I suspect it may take me a very very long time to find something.

Also, am on a bit of a budget so the less expensive the better!
Is it inevitable that I'll turn up like a bag lady?

How about a dressy Monsoon skirt (look in the sale now as they are 70% off) with a loose top you can feed in. Saw some in MOnsoon sale with beads at the neckline which you coudl feed in and were quite glam.
Will see if I can find links (not everything is on the wesbite though).

www.monsoon.co.uk/icat/wsskirts the Gwen skirt looks pretty and shoudl be flattering
plus something alone these lines?
www.monsoon.co.uk/invt/12984303 but maybe black top is too dark for a wedding?

Pannacotta · 12/01/2008 15:02

Or look on ebay for MOnsoon things in larger than normal size and you can re-sell after the wedding?

Haylstones · 13/01/2008 12:45

Thanks Pannacotta, those links are great. Will have a proper look now!

Oh I hadn't spotted it was cord! Budget is not huge but I'll probably end up selling it on Ebay afterwards as hopefully it'll be too big not long after the wedding!

Haylstones you skirts you linked to don't seem to be available on the Monsoon site, not possible to add them to your basket.
Agree cord not ideal for a wedding.
I wore a similar outfit to lennygrrl to a wedding in September: lovely silk Monsoon skirt, Phase 8 cami a few sizes too big so I coudl lift it up to feed in, Coast shrug and a creamy linen fitted jacket. Wore nice jewellery and some sparkly slingbacks.
All bought in the summer sales, think I spent £100 including the shoes.
Is there a Monsoon near you so can you go in and see what they have?
I thought the Gwen skirt on the MOnsoon site looked nice and with the pink it wasnt too black IYSWIM.
Coast is another good label for weddings, again you can sell on afterwards. You might pick up some bargains in their sale too.
Have you looked on ebay?

This skirt is available (though only in sizes 8 and 14) and looks pretty:
