... i have just bought this jazz dress from ghost for a wedding.

i will be wearing it with choc opaques and choc suede high heeled boots.

i will be looking for a shawly/pashmina thing and f'off eye catching necklace/choker to draw the eye upwards and away from problem areas incompletely disguised by ruching magic knickers from boobs to thighs a must in my case!

thanks for reading

mater, oh dear for you if you are my body double!

it is not terribly slimming it has to be said, but it is balancing if that makes any sense at all? plus one thing about excess weight - you get a fab decolletage and shoulders and this dress does emphasise those points...

BK - that is a really wonderful dress.

Ghost fabric is used so well and hangs brilliantly.

The boots sound brilliant, too.

Have you found your f-off choker / necklace?

bossykate · 11/01/2008 17:34

thank you

alas, no.

What sort of thing do you envisage? Glamourous and chintzy, contemporary / arty or real precious gold?

Some green / brown items if you scroll down this page....

those look very nice. something striking and contemporary without being eccentric iyswim. not "real" jewellery - costume.

Sounds like a shopping trip to the Oxo Tower followed by a cocktail....

Blu · 11/01/2008 18:07

yes, I know what you mean, eye catching, elegant, gorgeous but not fun and chunky.

Spidermama · 11/01/2008 18:07

That's very nice.

bossykate · 11/01/2008 20:51

thank you

let's see, shopping at the oxo tower followed by a cocktail. oh i dunno...
