What does Botox feel like?

I’m on the brink of getting Botox but I’m worried it’ll feel really strange and I’ll hate it! So what does it feel like after it’s done I’m not bothered by the injection bit.

Do it. I hesitated for a couple of years and wish I hadn't. I am so so pleased with the results. I also have fillers, filers more uncomfortable to have done as it takes a bit longer etc.

Botox is over and done in a few mins.

I swim so the only thing I can't do for two days is wear a swim hat (forehead botox) and you just have to make sure you sweep up rather than down when putting moisturiser on the first couple of days.

Can anyone how has had good results recommend who they used please? Another very tempted one but no idea where to even start looking!

Which part of the country are you in?

put it this way, there wont be many raised eyebrows

I’ve had it and can still raise my eyebrows. I had 11s, crows feet and forehead done and apart from looking fresher and less tired it isn’t hugely apparent. I’m not remotely frozen.

It feels a bit weird after a couple of days as if you’ve got a face mask on those areas - skin feels a little tighter. Then it softens but you can’t frown deeply.

Please go to a health professional (doctor, nurse or dentist) and not a beauty therapist.

@Sidge I’ve found a well qualified doctor didn’t want to take any chances

It feels like a scratch when the needle goes in. Bit uncomfortable but bearable. Immediately after you'll have little raised bumps. May feel a bit tight and have a headache. Results take several days to take effect. You'll look in the mirror a lot!

Would recommend starting with "baby Botox". My Botox lady likened it to cooking... you can always add more but you can't take it out!
