My skin is really pretty good for mid 40’s no fine lines at all really, but the texture is dull and my eyelids and undereyes are a bit puffy and crêpey.

I’ve used boots protect and perfect serum eye cream and day / night cream for years, and added Clinique super defence city block a few months ago. So far so good, skin is pretty happy, but feel like it’s time to step it up a bit.

After much reading I’ve bought a vitamin C serum and a retinol serum with the intention of using the Vit C in the morning and retinol at night.

I know from reading on here that I need to introduce the retinol gently, a couple of times a week at first, but does anyone have any advice on whether it’s OK to add both at once, or should I do one first and give it a couple of weeks?

If it’s better to stagger them which should I do first?

Also can anyone recommend something to tighten up the eye area and get rid of the puffiness, the eye cream I’ve been using isn’t really working for me?

Thanks for any suggestions!

I've been using vitamin c daily for a while in the morning and introduced retinol at night a few weeks ago (I'm not a skin care anything but read it on here)
I've developed some spots since using retinol which is apparently called purging and I need to stick with it!! My skin is really good otherwise though - good texture and few lines
