Mid 40’s, changing shape, please tell me what you wear & where from?

I’m 47 perimenopausal & feeling a bit low. My body shape is changing and as I’m 5’3” I’m feeling more rounded, my pear shape waist is disappearing. I literally have no clue what to wear anymore. I’ve got all my summer clothes out & none of them appeal, they look dated & tatty & most of them are unflattering on me now.

I’d be happy to start again but I can’t work out what to put together, what suits me or where to buy from. Everywhere seems to be long dresses, too long for me, frilly tops that do nothing for me etc. I haven’t even got one pair of jeans that fit & look nice at the moment. Trousers can feel uncomfortable & I don’t want to emphasise my larger middle.
It doesn’t help that there are not many shops near me so not much choice.
Just after some help please so I can look and feel better.

Bit more info, I work p/t in office smart casual dress. Rest of time home, would like one nice ‘go to’ outfit for night out, meal, or lunch etc.
Right now I am overwhelmed by the amount od clothes I have & yet I am struggling to find one nice outfit to wear.

I’m 46 and having a bit of a overhaul. I’m also trying to tone up.
I’ve found M&S jeans incredibly comfy and they look good, my favourites are the Harper style.
I’ve just bought a few going out tops from Reiss, jersey dresses from Boden, slim trousers for work from Boden (Richmonds) and some plain t shirts from Whistles.
I’ve also got some new cuffed trousers for working from home to go with t shirts (Fat Face Lyme I think they’re called).
M&S have a great shirt range at the moment to hide your tummy.. the girlfriend shirt styles are fab and cheap (size down as they are big). But they are a nice crisp cotton
