Matching skirt and top (to look like a dress)

Hello people of mumsnet, please help me!
I have a wedding to go to in 3 weeks and am really struggling to find a flattering dress.
I’m size 16-18 with a large bust, and 5’9, so find lots of dresses sit badly because my height and bust means the waist sits too high.
Previously I’ve found that wearing a matching skirt and top to look like a dress fits better and is much more flattering, but I can’t find any! All the lovely floaty dresses everywhere also make me look huge, so I’m really looking for a pencil type shape.

things do pop up, oddly they mostly seem to consist of crop tops, but at the pricier end there are sets that are not cropped.

Erdem do this but pricey. Most of the skirts are full but this is a pencil one with matching top.

Oasis have lots of matching tops and pencil skirts

Kettlewell colours have matching skirts and tops in plain and sometimes a few patterns. They are mostly jersey so you may need your spanx. They have a lovely choice of colours.

I love this Hush set but I'm never ever ever going to wear a crop top, if only they'd made the top longer, it would have been a really versatile set.

I’ve also just discovered that Coast have an impressive selection of tops and skirts in the same 4 colours which could be mixed and matched (in case anyone else is interested).
