Traditional christening gowns or baby dresses

I’m trying and failing to find a traditional christening gown. I’ve only found one reputable looking seller on NOTHS but the gowns are bespoke and are around £180. It’s a fair price for a handmade piece of clothing but was hoping for some more choice.

There’s one from Monsoon but the fabric looks a bit cheap online. Surprised that John Lewis don’t have anything. I also can’t find any shops (via Google) to see anything in person and to try things on. I’m in the midlands.

I’d consider a white bridesmaid/flower girl/party dress but my baby is 9lbs and the smallest sizes usually start from 12 months. But I’d much rather a traditional gown.

Does anyone have any recommendations please?

There are some on Etsy. You could also try EBay.

Thanks! Some good options here. I’ve found so many outfits for boys in regular shops just seems all the girls’ stuff is online.

I thought there were options on M&S and John Lewis?
