Tinted moisturiser

Has anyone got a recommendation for tinted moisturiser rather than foundation for the summer please. I'm very fair so something that comes in varying shades would be perfect. Thank you

I’ve used both Clair and Nude in Erborian BB @StrychnineInTheSandwiches and bizarrely found they weren’t that different (Clair actually starts out darker somehow, although it does finish lighter than Nude but there wasn’t much in it on me). Definitely try a sample, the formula was nice but in the end I had to give up on it as both were too dark for my fair skin.

I use IT Cosmetics CC cream . You have to only use the tiniest bit or it's too heavy coverage for me but used lightly I find it perfect. I'm now on my third tube and each one has lasted 9-10 months. Factor 50 too . The normal not the illumination version. I'm 57 and it doesn't sit in my wrinkles or pores just makes me look like me but better.

I have moved to La Roche posts tinted sunscreen

Clarins for me too. The hydra quench one which has 20% at john lewis rn. Might just stock up on it.

Clinique city block or Trinny BFF

Inclinedtochatter · 02/05/2022 18:12

Nivea tinted day cream. I've been using it for years. It's moisturising and contains SPF 15 plus it only costs about £3!

@Vicliz24 That IT CC one is marvellous- a bit of a pain to get but so good. The other one I really like is Finnish brand Lumene

I also love the No7 City tinted moisturiser

Dead Sea Spa Magik is perfect for my pale freckled complexion.

I use NARS too - it has SPF 30 but isn't greasy textured or anything.

Beachlovingirl · 02/05/2022 21:06

I have the Trinny de-stress and very impressed with it and I get a pale shade and then have another for when I’m tanning.

although I recently took the plunge to the oridinary serum foundation so not typically a tinted moisterisor. And it’s amazing. With the trinny at the end of the day when I remove my makeup the trinny stuff has totally gone. But with the ordinary it’s still on at the end of the day and the finish on it is less shiny than trinny but still dewy and light. It’s also about £6 so that is a plus.

The vita liberata body blur for the face.

I love it, gives me a really healthy glow too. I wear it over my normal spf moisturiser.

SpaceJamtart · 02/05/2022 22:57

The Glossier perfecting skin tint is really nice if you want something very lightweight

MadAngryCry · 02/05/2022 23:03

Clinique City Block for me - it's got SPF which is a nice bonus.

Whatevernext1 · 02/05/2022 23:13

Bare Minerals complexion rescue is lovely

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 03/05/2022 08:26

Chantecaille has the oddest selection of shades. I've never found one that works.

The new YSL Nu is good, or Shiseido TM, if you don't need much coverage.

I fancy this but is it a tinted moisturiser? I thought it was just a sunscreen to wear under foundation.

RicitosdeOro · 03/05/2022 23:05

Glossier perfecting skin tint here too. A bottle lasts me 3-4 months with daily wear and I’ve just repurchased for the fourth time.

very light and sheer so not for anyone looking for heavy coverage but just makes your skin look better and more dewy. I find it very flattering.

However, I do love La Roche Posay facial sunscreen and use it as my moisturiser all summer so I’m tempted by the tinted sunscreen a poster above mentioned. Sigh - the grass is always greener….

Don't bother with the estee lauder one, on me there's no colour
