Is it better to have a fringe or not when you have grey roots regrowth every few weeks

I have long dark hair and the greys are a constant battle.

I go between having a fringe and growing it out. I suit both I think.

My greys are a nightmare and I wondered if they'd be more or less noticeable with a fringe?

Without a fringe I clip the front back in a quiff so greys are very obvious.

I dye my hair at home and also use hair mascara inbetween

Definitely less visible with a fringe in my case.
