Does this top make me look boxy?

I feel that in addition to being under 5ft 2, I have a really short torso and am quite boxy.

I bought this top today, and now that I've tried it on, I'm not sure it does me any favours.

It only for casual summer wear, but I would appreciate some honest answers as to whether I should return it, or even if the regular fit might be better? This version is petite.

Personally I dont think the baseball boots/ sneakers/ whatever they are look right in that outfit. Change the shoes for that one.

Shorts def look better.

You have fantastic legs and the top with the shorts looks great.

I know it's not what you asked but those Converse do absolutely nothing for you and make your incredible legs look much shorter.

That peplum is there to conceal. All it's doing is adding unnecessary volume and hiding your waist.

It's not an unpleasant top by any means, but you have a great figure and I feel you can wear something more fitted.

I think it looks lovely on you OP (and there is nothing wrong with your shoes). Some people think everyone should like the same clothes/shoes as they do - life just isn't like that!

You have a great figure

the top with shorts does leave a square image, not so much with the leggings, but yes it has a boxy or square feel

you look pleasant enough but the top isn’t sowing your figure at its best

you state you have a sore point with your stomach - I would bet no one else sees this and a more fitted top would look better, without scaffold pants

Thanks all.

I shall ditch my converse when hell freezes over but they were just what I had on already today. I wouldn't wear those ones with the top.

Need to see what it looks like with my mom jeans. Think it will be a no. I'm not sure they work for me to begin with.

It doesn't go with the trousers IMO. It looks like your bottom half is dressed for winter, while your top half it dressed for summer.

Better with shorts. I can't tell what colour they are from the photo, but I would wear with navy or another lighter colour on the bottom rather than black.

If I had you're figure I'd wear a bikini all year around!!

I think both outfits look nice, but I suspect a shaped tshirt would look even better.

Definitely not boxy. You can't even tell you are short in either outfit.
