I love these brands but they are all proportioned for bigger people. I’m 4’11”!so need petite and short lengths. Any ideas?

I also love those labels and I’m 5ft 2in. I buy them and wear them at ballerina length or take the hem up.

Muji sometimes have similar styles to kin/cos, and good materials. Kin/cos often fit my height (5"7), whereas muji clothes are often cut for a shorter and more petite frame, I think.

Just checked website - definitely go to physical muji shop. There's more variety, and the online models make the clothes look plainer than they are!

Try Carolyn Donnelly The Edit - google - sorry I can't do links.
Then take them up a bit. I use the iron on hemming stuff.

Cool thanks some good ideas. I tend to find the rise too long or the waist is in the wrong place. Will take a look at the above though cheers

One of my favourites. I’ve got this and it’s lovely.

Zara and Uniqlo sometimes have things that are are Toastlike, but you need to have a good look in the shops. Uniqlo clothes tend to be short in smaller sizes IME. Zara is a bit like a jumble sale but I've found the odd good thing

Poetry and Plumo might be worth a look but check the length.

I have no useful suggestions but following out of interest…

Yamyam13 · 28/04/2022 20:47

Have a look at Olive Clothing - I always wish I was more petite so I could fit more of it, and I'm 5'5 size 12

Thank you for doing a link @Blossomtoes

Blossomtoes · 29/04/2022 11:15

You’re welcome. I’ve had a few Carolyn Donnelly things and they’re great quality at affordable prices. And, because Dunnes don’t have stores here and most people in England have never heard of them, you’re unlikely to see anyone else wearing their clothes.

Someone stopped me the other day and asked me was my dress Cos. I was wearing a Carolyn Donnelly dress Smile

@Blossomtoes Another Dunnes brand Savida often throws up something lovely.
It's aimed at a younger demographic but some pieces are classics. Very reasonably priced too.
