What smart shoes do you wear in summer that are not sandals?

I am at a loss over what to wear for work when the weather is hot. I really don’t like showing off my toes at the moment and trainers are not smart enough. Any summery shoes that would go with dresses?

I struggle with this too. I've worn flat espadrilles quite a lot already this year when the weather has been warm. Depends on the type of dress you're wearing, but they can work quite well. Tory Burch has a few different options. I own the T Monogram Espadrille in green and get a lot of wear in warmer months.

I wear ballet flats for work in the summer. Not seen as fashionable round these parts (S&B) but lots of women in my RL world still wear them

All ballet flats are actually back on trend this year especially pointed toes too. I've revived mine from the wardrobe!
